Processing Time
Allow 72 hours for processing, although, many requests will be processed more quickly.
Travel time allowed with NZeTA
Visit up to 3 months, or 6 months for UK citizens. You can also only visit New Zealand for up to 6 months in any 12-month period.
HOW IT WORKS
NZeTA applications are extremely quick. Using your citizenship from your passport, find out if you require and/or are eligible to request an NZeTA to enter New Zealand, start clicking on "APPLY NOW" button.
Requirements
- Able to provide proof of identity.
- Be in good health and of good character.
- If arriving by plane, you must be a citizen of a visa waiver country.
- Cruise passengers also require an NZeTA if entering New Zealand as a cruise passenger and you can be of any nationality.
What you need to apply
- passport with an expiration date of at least six months from the planned date of travel
- photo of the page of your passport which contains your personal details
- credit card or debit card (Visa or Mastercard) to pay for the service fee
- email address
Cost and processing time
NZD$246.00 fee for passengers that require NZeTA to enter New Zealand.
Applicants entering New Zealand must pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) which is already included in the fee above.
NZD$146.00 fee for passengers that require NZeTA only for transit through Auckland International Airport.
